iCARE Paper

Interprofessional refers to the concept of bringing together people with different professions in order to attain goal or objective. In healthcare, interprofessional is key towards improving the overall satisfaction of patients’ care. When healthcare professionals adopt this concept, they are able to work collaboratively with their colleagues, and ensure that the patients’ care is significantly improved. According to a discussion done by Mitchell et al. (2012), interprofessional collaboration in healthcare is normally associated with a reduction in medical errors, reduction in healthcare inefficiencies, reduction in cost, increased employees’ relationship, and a fast administering of medication in treatment process. In addition to this, interprofessional collaborative is responsible at eradicating the uncertainties that patients’ families could be having towards the healthcare provision. My working environment is at CVICU (Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit). I have witnessed an increased interprofessional collaboration within my working environment. Following this, this paper will make a discussion on the various nursing actions that are linked to interprofessional collaboration, which will include iCARE components of Compassion, Advocacy, Resilience, and Evidence-Based Practice……..please click the icon below to purchase full answer at $10
