Share with your classmates a time when you cared for a patient at the end of their life. This may be a time when you assisted the patient (or their support system) with decisions related to end of life care; or a time when you were present for the death of a patient.

I remember caring for a patient as an LPN at the end of their life and it was my first time experiencing this as a nurse. I had witness other nurses do this but had not yet been through this myself. To say that I was terrified deep down inside would have been an understatement being that it was my first time experiencing this.
