Patient safety remains a top priority in contemporary healthcare systems. Prescribing errors represent a significant portion of medication errors behind the occurrence of adverse events among different populations including pediatrics (D’Errico et al., 2022). In this short paper, strong emphasis is placed on describing what constitutes a prescribing error in pediatrics.
