Complete the Examining Wearable Technologies template, by following the steps below.

  3. Use information from the Week 3 lesson, feedback from the Part 1: Check-In, and at least one scholarly source from the Chamberlain Library to complete the template on your chosen wearable technology.
  4. Correctly cite and reference ideas and information that come from the selected scholarly source. Include the Chamberlain permalink after the Reference. Additional scholarly sources may be used, but only one is required for this assignment. Sources should be no more than five years old unless they are historical references.
  5. Follow rules of grammar, spelling, word usage, and punctuation consistent with formal, scientific writing.
  6. Abide by Chamberlain University’s academic integrity policy.

I selected ECG monitors as a wearable technology, a brand from MediBioSense, and a product from MediBio Sense MBS HealthStream; for example, we have Smartwatches that monitor ECG rhythms to detect irregularities.

  1. Discuss the intended purpose of the selected wearable technology.

In wearable technology, ECG monitors are designed to continuously monitor the heart’s electrical activity for a prolonged duration.
