Purpose

The purpose of this assignment is to provide the student an opportunity to reflect on the weekly concepts learned in the course.

Through this assignment, the student will demonstrate the ability to:

Assignment should be submitted to the Week 8 Reflection on Learning Weeks 1-8 dropbox in the Reflect area of Week 8 by Saturday 11:59 p.m. MST at the end of Week 8.  

The course ends on Saturday of Week 8. There is no late submission allowed for this assignment.

Requirements:

  1. Document includes reflections from all weeks 1-7: To complete the assignment, students will need to copy the reflections they entered into the weekly reflection threads from weeks 1-7 into one double-spaced Word document and submit the document to the dropbox. You will need to add a week 8 reflection post on “What Did You Learn in this Course?” You must include 8 weeks of reflections for this assignment.
  2. Formatting: Document should be in APA format 
  3. Includes a title page in APA format 
  4. Document is double spaced

Week 1

The readings this week lays the foundations for all fields of nursing specialties,  including my chosen field and passion, Psychiatry and mental health.  I have learnt how important an advanced practice nurse role is to providing knowledgeable leadership, initiation of diagnoses and applicable treatments  quickly due to afforded autonomy, creating research programs  that address community  developments, and improve lives and the environmental concerns of  Healthcare industry.  A master’s degree holder, as l am set of becoming is how to safely care and advocate for clients .
