This week’s topic focused on caring and reflective practice in contemporary nursing. In your initial response, provide a definition of what person-centred care means to you. Describe how you will apply principles holistic nursing, cultural humility, and self-reflection in your future role as a nurse practitioner.

Person-centered is seeing the problem and the solution through the patient’s perspective.  It’s about working with the patient, educating him/her, keeping their preferences in mind, and negotiating with my patient so that the patient have a stake in their healthcare goals. The first step to any helping relationship is to establish trust.  Having a sympathetic presence is also important (CCN, 2022).  Caring is the foundation of nursing.  Being present, listening attentively, and seeing our patients from their perspectives will go a long way in establishing that trust.……..please click the icon below to purchase full answer at $5
