Reflect on your current practice. How does nursing history impact your leadership and/or care provision? Please include specific nursing history persons or events in your reflection.

Hello Professor Allen, and class, I have been researching historical nurses and keep reflecting back to Jane Delano.  She was a great influence in the nursing development and recruited thousands of nurses into the field for WW I.  I enjoyed learned about her and how she encouraged women to become nurses around the world.  Learning about Jane and seeing how I have grown as a nurse myself was very interesting.  Jane had the reputation to use her innovative ways to take care of ailments.  Such as by reading about her I learned that she was taking care of patients with yellow fever and figured out a way to slow the spread.…….please click the icon below to purchase full answer at $5
