It can be carried out in various ways which clinical research which looks at care for the entire life span of an individual, nursing education research which entails the course work that the nurses undergo and outcome research which focuses on the quantity and quality of healthcare services and how to improve the patient treatment.

Effectively, all professional nurses should understand the basic research principles because they transform knowledge from the books to be used in real life. BSN helps nurses understand the knowledge at hand, then process it systematically helping them interpret the data given, think critically and have the ability to solve problems (Northeastern state university, 2017). The research will also help nursing students to become more competent when they encounter any challenge in the field.
